carlos gomez and mike fiers go to houston
— Jon Heyman (@JonHeymanCBS) July 30, 2015
The Astros have made their move to get a bat and another starter.
Carlos Gomez has been through the ringer the last two days with an apparent trade to the New York Mets but that went ugly pretty quickly. Now the Milwaukee Brewers were able to find a suitor in Houston.
Mike Fiers will come into the Astros rotation to get another starter to help eat some innings as Lance McCullers approaches a probable innings limit.
brewers will gets several prospects back from the astros in deal for gomez and fiers

No word on exactly who those prospects are at this point. The fact that that CarGo is signed through 2016 and Fiers isn't a free agent until 2020 shows a significant amount of team control and will likely require several good prospects.
UPDATE:
Complete deal: OF Gomez and RHP Fiers from #Brewers to #Astros for OF Phillips, LHP Hader, OF Santana and RHP Houser.
