Dominguez as the Astros Opening Day starter at third base in 2013 and 2014. He batted .233 with 42 home runs and 150 RBIs in 340 games with the Astros. Dominguez lost his job in Spring Training following a poor offensive season in 2014 (.215/.256/330) and the Astros traded for Luis Valbuena.
Dominguez currently sits behind the ageless wonder, Aramis Ramírez. Ramírez has been the Brewers starts at third since 2012 -- batting .212 with 7 home run.
This may be a good situation for Dominguez, Ramírez announced he was retiring after the 2015 season.
