Preview

The weather outside is frightful. Thankfully for the Astros, tropical storm Bill seems to have verded far enough south to allow the teams and fans to play/attend the game safely.

The Astros home runs and beard took game one. Now Vincent Velasquez takes the mound for game two before both teams head to the mile high city. Velasquez makes his second major league start for the Astros in Tuesday's day game. Velasquez was sharp in his first outing, pitching five scoreless innings against the White Sox.

For the Rockies, Chris Rusin starts. Rusin was sharp in his first three starts of the season, allowing just three earned runs over his first 18 2/3 innings. But the wheels came off in his most recent start, allowing six runs on 11 hits against the Marlins.

This will be the first time either team will face the opposing starter, minus Jed Lowrie who has faced Rusin twice in his career.
