Jose Altuve out for second straight game with a hamstring injury

Altuve does light running before Sunday's game, but misses his second game with injury.

Jose Altuve came up lame running out a ball on Friday against the Mariners. Altuve left the game early, and was later diagnosed with hamstring strain.

For the second straight day, Altuve is out of the lineup. The current leading vote-getter for American League second baseman did some light running to test out the hamstring, but there is no timetable for his return.

Altuve played in 457 games out of 486 games in his first three full seasons with the Astros. Altuve has appeared in all of the Astros 61 games this season before sitting out these last two games. The Astros second baseman is batting .290 (72x248) with 11 doubles, 5 home runs, 27 runs scored, 27 RBIs, and 17 stolen bases.
