Jose Altuve came up lame running out a ball on Friday against the Mariners. Altuve left the game early, and was later diagnosed with hamstring strain.
For the second straight day, Altuve is out of the lineup. The current leading vote-getter for American League second baseman did some light running to test out the hamstring, but there is no timetable for his return.
#Astros manager A.J. Hinch said Altuve did light running in the outfield and remains day to day. He is not in the lineup today.
