Jake Marisnick completes unassisted double play at first base

Yes, you're reading the correctly.

Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

While Astros fans had sugar plums dancing in their heads as they were sound asleep, the legend of Jake Marsinick continued to grow. The Astros were facing the Angels in the bottom of the fourth inning with one out. A key point to remember from this point on.

Matt Joyce muscled a pitch to centerfield a.k.a. the savanna that the cheetah-like creature know to man as Jake Marinick prowls. Marsinick got a good jump on the ball and hauled it in. Angels first baseman Albert Pujols who was standing on first when Joyce hit the ball, rounded second and ever came back. He had completely forgot how many out there were in the inning. Marsinick gracefully sprinted into the infield, all the way into the bag for the unassisted double play. Sore that "8U" in your scorebooks.

Not something you see everyday on a baseball field for sure.
