Preview
The Astros continue their seven-game road trip in Detroit. The Tigers broke the Astros streak of winning games were they scored 4 runs or more. But even that loss was impressive for the Astros. They rallied from a 5-0 deficit to tie the game in the ninth inning. Rookie Preston Tucker capped off the comeback with a game-tying home run in the ninth. Unfortunately, the Tigers would win it in extras as a result of James McCann home run in the 11th.
Collin McHugh takes the mound in hopes of putting the Astros back into the win column. Thus far, the Astros are 7-1 in starts he's made this season. He's reached the seventh inning in three of his last four starts. This is the first time, McHugh will have faced the Tigers in his career. Away from Minute Maid Park, McHugh is 2-0 with 3.08 ERA this season in four starts.
