Minor League Opening Day Thread

The minor leagues are officially open for business. It's opening day and parks are open across the country. For Astros fans, here are the games to follow.

Las Vegas at Fresno

9:05 PM CST

This is the first game for Fresno as an affiliate for the Houston Astros. Brad Peacock gets his first game on the bump after having off-season hip labrum surgery.

Corpus Christi at Springfield

7:05 PM CST

Kent Emmanuel will be the starting pitcher for his first taste of Double-A action. This will also be Carlos Correa's first game in AA.

San Jose at Lancaster

8:30 PM CST

Brian Holmes will face off as the starter against 2014 first round pick Tyler Beede out of Vanderbilt. This team has a ton of power which should create a lot of interesting games.

Quad Cities at Peoria

7:05 PM CST

Chris Lee will take the mound first in his return season in Low-A QC.
