Mariners' starter Taijuan Walker did bounce back from his poor start to the season and continue his career-long success against Houston but it wasn't enough. The Astros rallied for 5 runs in the eight to put Houston ahead for good.

Former Astros pitcher J.A. Happ starts for the Mariners. Happ has been just what the doctor ordered for the M's, after Seattle traded outfielder Michael Saunders for the lefty's services - posting back-to-back quality starts in his Mariners debut. Happ has allowed just four earned runs in his first 13.1 innings thus far. In three career starts against the Astros, Happ is 2-0 with 2.04 ERA.
