New players, same result. The A's jumped all over the Astros last night. Newest member of the boys in green, Mark Canha, Ben Zobrist, Ike Davis, Brett Lawrie, Billy Butler, and Marcus Semien all contributed to Oakland's 8-1 stomping of Scott Feldman and the Astros. Lawrie and Butler each belted a home run on Monday.
The Athletics pushed Tuesday's starter Asher Wojciechowski to relief outing yesterday. As result he was sent down and Brad Peacock was called up to make the start in his place. Peacock had hip surgery this offseason and missed a portion of Spring Training. He made one rehab start with Triple A Fresno. Triple A Las Vegas wasn't able to get a hit off Peacock in 4.2 innings, he walked five and struck out two in the outing.

Kendall Graveman, one of the pieces Josh Donaldson trade returned to Oakland, makes his second start of the season. Graveman allowed seven earned runs through 3.1 against the Rangers on April 9. This is the first time any current Astro will have faced Graveman in the majors.
