On day two, the minors weren't perfect but i'll take a 3-1 night anyway. The first loss comes from Lancaster.
Gator Teammates Lead Fresno to 8-4 Win
Preston Tucker and Nolan Fontana have been able to play together for several years now. They were together at Florida and pretty much every stop on the way to AAA. Last night they paired up for a pair of home runs that lead to a win. Yes, the Nolan Fontana that has very limited power and had just one home run last year (given it was an injury shortened season).

Top Prospects Shine in 8-2 Hooks Win
Mark Appel made his season debut and outside of a solo home run, was what every fan wanted. Had good strikeout numbers. Had great groundball rate. Limited base runners. And, he was efficient. Carlos Correa also had another notable night as he is starting off the season on the right foot. He was able to knock a pair of doubles.

Feliz Gets Roughed Up in High-A Debut
Michael Feliz has seen his stock soar over the last two years to the point that he was added to the 40-man roster in order to be protected from the Rule Five draft. However, last night was a rough beginning to the season as he was unable to complete three innings. He at least had four strikeouts.
