The Astros headed to Roger Dean Stadium for their second Spring Training game. Houston squared off with their former National League Central division foe, the St. Louis Cardinals. LHP Brett Oberholtzer took the mound. Evan Gattis, Colby Rasmus, Carlos Correa, and Colin Moran saw their first action in Friday's game.
"Well you're not going to win'em all kid", especially in Spring Training. The Astros dropped their second game of Spring Training to the Cardinals, 5-2. The Cardinals' damage was done in the sixth inning. St. Louis was able to put four runs on the board against Alex White. The former first-round pick in 2009 draft struggled, recording only one out in the inning while giving up three hits and walking two before being pulled. The Astros were unable to string together their seven hits in to any meaningful offensive effort, but there were still a few bright spots.
