On Friday, February 20, this year's iteration of the TCB March Madness will kick off, taking us all the way to the beginning of the season with daily match-ups between 64 of the most well-known players and prospects in the organization.
Bracket
Methodology
Things have been simplified a bit this year. While there will again be 64 competitors to start, the divisions have been done away with and all the players, whether Major League veteran or prospects drafted less than a year ago, have been thrown into a pool together, with one man ultimately emerging the victor.
Voting
Voting remains unchanged; each player in a match-up will have a short description about him to give you a reference point. Voting for each match-up will remain open for 24 hours after it goes live. You may use whatever criteria you wish when voting; you needn't necessarily vote for who you think is the best performing player or the most likely to win some kind of award.
Schedule
The first round will take place from February 20 through March 7, with two match-ups per day.
The second round will take place from March 9 through March 16, with two match-ups per day.
The third round will take place from March 18 through March 25, with one match-up per day.
The fourth round will take place from March 27 through March 30, with one match-up per day.
The fifth round will take place on April 1 and April 2, with one match-up per day.
The final match-up will take place on April 4.
