First look at Ken Giles in a Houston Astros uniform

Not bad. Giles really does look like Brad Lidge at times.

The Astros made their big splash at the 2015 Winter Meetings, trading for Philadelphia Phillies' closer Ken Giles -- the deal is not yet official. Houston will send four players in return for Giles: right-handed pitcher Vincent Velasquez, left-handed pitcher Brett Oberholtzer, outfielder Derek Fisher, and  right-handed pitcher Thomas Eshelman.

Now a look at Ken Giles in an Astros uniform:

The TCB readers/twitter voted that I photoshop Giles in a orange/white combo.

For the record, my loathing of pinstripes continues. The Phillies don't a plan white set of pants, it's either pinstripe or 'antique' white with their alternate uniform. I do not miss the Astros' '00s jerseys for even a second.

VV and Obie will be missed. But, as the card shows Giles looks sharp in an Astros uniform and ready to throw gas.
