A solid week for our three position players. Davis has his OPS up over .800 now, and Fisher has been a walk machine, maintaining a high .375 BAbip so far. Unfortunately the team as a whole hit the skids these last two weeks, and they're now eliminated from the championship game this coming Saturday. They'll play the last four games on the schedule (Monday through Thursday) and then the AFL will be done for our guys.

South of the Border

Hoyt and White continue to stand out. The WHIP on Hoyt is 0.933, by the way, thanks to allowing just 10 hits in 15 innings. White has seven walks and just three strike outs in his last eight games. Jandel Gustave deserves some mention as well; he throws hard and that's about all you can say, but he could certainly be a relief asset if he can polish his game in other areas.
