The Astros hadn't won during a start by Lance McCullers in the last five tries before they headed to Seattle. McCullers gave two runs over six inning in a win. Since Sept. 5, he's 1-2 with a 3.19 ERA and four quality outings.
This is the first time any Diamondbacks hitter will have seen McCullers in the majors.
Robbie Ray has a 2-2 record with a 2.70 ERA in five Sept. starts. He is 1-6 with a 4.94 ERA at home this season.
