So two weeks in, Glendale is 6-2, giving them the best winning percentage in the league. While none of our guys have hit a whole lot, Reed and Fisher are both getting on base at a nice clip (.385 and .400 OBP, respectively). On the pitching side, Brian Holmes is continuing his nice 2015, with five shutout innings in his two games. He'll probably be starting again on Tuesday or thereabouts.

South of the Border

Things are now more fully underway in the Caribbean Leagues. Standouts so far are obviously Tyler White and James Hoyt, neither of whom seem to be about to slow down from their big breakouts this year. And by the way; White has played exclusively at 1B or DH during his six games, so not only has there been no 3B, but certainly nothing to indicate the talk of putting him behind the plate is underway. We'll see.
