The area around Minute Maid Park has been ever evolving, especially along Crawford Street with a new apartment complex. The construction has taken over the block on Crawford St. between Texas Ave. and Preston St -- so much so that it blocked the sidewalk on Crawford St.
Today, a tragedy happened at the construction site as the scaffolding at the construction collapsed -- sending at least six people to the hospital, as reported by the Houston Chronicle.
A tourist captured the video of the caspase:

The video was captured in front of Minute Maid Park, the tourists were standing in area with Craig Biggio and Jeff Bagwell statues.
A terrifying video, watching seven stories of scaffolding falling on the workers. Thankful it appears that no lives were lost and thankfully it didn't happen with more foot traffic with a playoff series.
