Preview

It's only fitting that Doctor McHugh would pitch on the day of the return of Doctor Who. If you didn't know why Collin McHugh was called Doctor McHugh, now you know. McHugh takes the mound looking for his third win in as many starts, he also hopes to building upon the growing swell of momentum created by the return of the Dexter Fowler and the Astros offense.

McHugh has been brilliant since the All-Star break, posting a 2.27 ERA in 31.2 innings. In the month of August, has a record of 2-0 with a 1.42 ERA. He has been better on the road this season with 1.82 ERA in 54.1 innings.

Only, former Astros and Houston-native, Michael Bourn has a previous at-bat against McHugh - going 1-for-1.

Danny Salazar has some fantastic weapons in his high-90's fastball and split finger. His control of said pitches are still in question. He has made strides in the right direction since the All-Star break, dropping his ERA by two runs. In his last start, against the Orioles, he gave up two runs over five innings on four hits - walking one and striking out four.

This is will be the first time any active Astros faces the young fireball in the regular season.
