Suddenly out of no where a strange noise rang through Target Field. "Vworrrp Vworrrrp" echoed. The TARDIS appeared and out stepped Doctor McHugh. The Astros are need of the Doctor's services after being blanked 8-0 yesterday in Minnesota. McHugh hasn't given up a run over his last two games - 12 IP, 12 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 13 K. The only Twin currently on the roster that has previously faced Doctor McHugh is Kurt Suzuki, he his 1-for-2 with a home run.
Samuel Deduno apposes McHugh, he made the transition from the bullpen to the rotation at the start of May. He has a 2-2 record with a 4.36 ERA over six starts this season. In his most recent start, Deduno held the Brewers to two runs over five inning on June 3. Deduno made a start against the Astros in 2013 on August 2, he held the Astros to two runs over six innings. Jason Castro and Matt Dominguez are each 1-for-3 are in their careers against Sunday's starter for the Twins. Robbie Grossmn is 0-1 with a walk agianst Deduno.
Dexter Fower and Jose Altuve contiue doing yeoman's work; Fowler was 2-for-2 with a walk and Altuve has reached base safely in 27 of his last 29 games.
