Subber10 picks the Players of the Week for the Astros minor leagues, and the pitcher of the week has a little twist.

Hitter of the Week

Statistically, there are probably some better options, like Tony Kemp and his ridiculous pace at which he gets on-base. But, I have to give this award to Delino DeShields.

HE GOT HIT IN THE FREAKING FACE!

He came back last Friday and re-introduced himself to the Texas League with a two home run night. He would pick to hits as well the next two nights, albeit not of the of the home run variety. He followed the next night up with a pair of walks and...

Not one.

Not two.

But three stolen bases.

That's the way you come back from injury. He finished the week 8 for 24 at the plate with the two home runs, two walks, seven strikeouts, and four stolen bases.

Pitcher of the Week

The trio who no-hit the Bakersfield Blaze. The Lancaster team has been a fun one to follow for yet another year. This one in particular because they have good pitching.

Earlier this week, Josh Hader, J.D. Osborne, and Daniel Minor combined for a no hitter. I'm not going to go through their stats, because it's such a rare accomplishment.
