Tuesday's Daily Boil: Here, there and everywhere

Here are a few links from around the interwebs about the Houston Astros.

David Manning-USA TODAY Sports

After finally capturing a win last night against the Mariners, I really just want to link every article that describes Matt Dominguez's homerun, but you 'll have no problem finding a place to read about that. What else should catch your eye about the Houston nine today? Here's 3 tidbits:

Remember J.D. Martinez? Yes, I'm talking about the all-around nice guy that used to don an Astros uniform. After landing with the Detroit Tiger organization's AAA team, he's getting his chance in the majors again as he's been called up tot he Tigers. Best of luck to you, JD. Read about it on Chron.com.

Jim Crane spoke with MLB's Brian McTaggart yesterday in Seattle and talked shop about Spring Training sites, the CSN-Houston debacle, and Crane's disappointment at the Astros struggling start of 2014. I'll still be over hear mumbling about how I don't want the Astro Spring Training facility to be in Palm Beach County, if you need me. Read about it on MLB.com.

Evan Drellich of the Houston Chronicle gives a nice overview of why Scott Feldman will be on the 15 day disabled list and why no one in the Astros' organization is overly concerned about his biceps tendonitis on Chron.com.

There you have it, Astros' fans. Go forth and read...today the news isn't all bad, is it? Amazing what a win can do to your mood.
