It's been a long day coming for George Springer. Springer was the 11th overall pick in the 2011 amateur draft by Houston. Last season he batted .303 with 37 home runs, 45 stolen bases, and 108 RBIs with Double-A Corpus Christi and Triple-A Oklahoma City.
This season in Triple-A Oklahoma City, Springer was batting .319 (15-47) with seven extra-base hits, 13 runs scored, five RBIs , and four stolen bases. Tuesday, he went 3-for-4 with a grand slam and scored four runs against Colorado Springs.
When will George Springer be called up? Now.
