In this match-up
2 - George Springer
A top prospect in most other systems, George Springer is, simply put, the man. He does everything and does everything well. Last year he missed a 40-40 season in the minors by three home runs. If his defense is as good as reported, he'll be a candidate for Rookie of the Year award at the end of the season. Make no mistake about it, Springer is ready to make an impact on the major league level for the Houston Astros.
vs
7 - Micheal Feliz
Despite a young career, the story is long with Feliz. When you've had a contract voided, your story is always longer. But, he's found his way into the Astros system with a true breakout year in 2013 where he dominated the New York-Penn League with plus velocity and dirty slider. He also showed an ability to control his stuff. But, don't be fooled, there is still plenty to work on in terms of command. He'll surely be in the rotation for Quad Cities this season. Look for him to continue to make the scouting world buzz. -Brooks
