New, comments

The Astros were back in action over the weekend against the Tigers and Braves.

The Astros played their second and third Spring Training games this weekend. Splitting the two games between the Tigers and Braves. You can read the recaps here and here.

A few things of note from the two games -

  • Carlos Correa picked up a double against the Tigers
  • Brad Peacock gave up all five runs to the Tigers on four hits and two walks
  • Mike Foltynewicz pitched two scoreless innings on Saturday; allowing one hit
  • Jarred Cosart went two scoreless innings on 27 pitches Sunday
  • Brett Oberholtzer threw two innings and gave up one run in relief of Cosart
  • Chad Qualls made his first appearance over the weekend giving up two runs on three hits
Of course, this can all be taken with a grain of salt. It's Spring Training after all. But, is there anything that caught your eye? Are you still checked out on Spring Training?
