We here at TCB are all about giving the people what they want, so I have a very simple question -
What stats do you want to see in the previews this year?
Once again, we plan on doing daily previews and hope to add something that will look like a series preview as well. The reason I ask this question is because we want the previews and infographics to be useful as possible. Do you want traditional stats, cover the surface of sabermetrics, or go deep into sabermetrics? What stats do you think best describes a pitcher for a single start or hitter for a series?
Here is an example of what we did last year picked at random.
Houston Astros (37-74) vs. Boston Red Sox (68-46), 7:10 pm (CT) - The Crawfish Boxes
Astros hope to shake up the world for a second night in a row against Boston with Lyles on the mound.
Here is an example of something that I did for Battle Red Blog that will be a template for the series previews this year.
Week Twelve Infographic: Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars - Battle Red Blog
This week we highlight the matchup between the Houston Texans and the Jacksonville Jaguars as we come to love the bomb.
So, please, leave a comment with any suggestions, requests, and/or complaints.
