Oregon State has a stable of draft eligible prospects that have scouts filling seats wherever they play.

Bottom of the ninth and we're only up one…it's time for a call to the pen and bring in the closer.

In this scenario, Anthony is the starter that just went eight outstanding innings, and I'm the closer. Except the closer is unavailable and I'm the scrap heap, bargain bin waiver claim used for mop up work.

Oregon State has a stable of draft eligible players this season that are paving the Beavers way to Omaha this season. Omaha talk is definitely early, but with the top players on the roster, it's hard not to talk about it. This week is littered with them from Nick Conforto on the offensive side to Jace Fry on the mound. They have a loaded team and many of their players don't get a lot of the hype that they should when the draft gets discussed.

Conforto gets the most hype as he's likely a first round pick, but Fry is a prospect to remember in his own right. He'll get drafted in the second day, but his stock could climb higher as the season continues. His track record isn't strong due to missing almost all of his sophomore year with a back injury, but continued success could wipe teams fears away.
