Okay, the Astros finally signed a reliever. Luke Gregerson, the former Padres and Athletics right-hander, was signed to a three-year, $18.5 million deal on Wednesday morning. Here's a sampling of the reaction around baseball to the deal.
Luke Gregerson reaches 3 year, $18.5 million deal with Houston #Astros; becoming 3rd richest reliever in #MLB this winter.

The Houston #Astros, who tried to sign Andrew Miller and David Robertson, now closing in on Pat Neshek after Gregerson"s $18.5 million deal

Astros were also talking to Pat Neshek, but it's unclear if they'd still sign him at this point.

Will be interesting to see if Gregerson got a no-trade clause. If not, Astros might have just bought a nifty July trade chip.

He's not a big name, but Luke Gregerson for $6 million per season is good value for the Astros. http://t.co/UDbzwznN4M

The Houston #Astros bullpen now shaping up quite nicely with Chad Qualls, Luke Gregerson and Pat Neshek.

Gregerson and Neshek, eh? The Astros getting morning work in. Must have big lunch plans.
— Craig Calcaterra (@craigcalcaterra) December 10, 2014
If Luke Gregerson is getting $6 million per year then Joakim Soria's $7 million option is a bargain.

#Astros landing two really, really solid relievers in Luke Gregerson and Pat Neshek. Really good value for them. They needed bullpen arms.
