Preview

Well yesterday's game was forgettable to say the least. The Astros have one more game with the Reds, and their only hope is Brad Peacock. Peacock is the one man standing between Houston and the new slightly down-sized version of the "Big Red Machine". Peacock has recorded five quality starts since he has returned to the rotation at the beginning of August. In his last two starts he has been lights-out - allowing only three runs over his last 13 innings. He also struck 13 batters over those two starts.

Greg Reynolds is returning to the rotation to face the Astros, after pitching in relief on September 10 against the Chicago Cubs. Reynolds stepped in while Tony Cingrani was on the disabled list with a back strain. Reynolds as a starter this season is 1-2 with 4.74 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP.

Keeping it short today, I'll (@d_more55) be in Crawford Boxes tonight with updates.
