Houston traded away one minor leaguer on the Biogenesis list in Fernando Martinez, but now it's got another. As the complete list of players who will be suspended was released Monday, it came out that Houston's Sergio Escalona is on the list and faces a 50-game suspension.

Escalona, 29, is a left-handed reliever who spent three seasons with the AStros, but only pitched in one of them for the major league team. The lefty threw 27 2/3 innings in 2011 as part of the bullpen, posting a 2.93 ERA and a 2-1 record in 49 games. He was injured in 2012, though, missing the entire season.

He returned this year and was assigned to Double-A Corpus Christi. There, Escalona was 1-2 with one save in 12 appearances, posting a 6.60 ERA in 15 innings. Escalona was originally acquired from Philadelphia in 2011 for minor league second baseman Albert Cartwright.
