OkC Takes it 6-2
Six runs. Six hits. Seven walks. Zero extra-base hits. If there were some stolen bases it would the absolute definition of small ball. Well, at least for one inning. All the damage came in the first inning when the RedHawks just nickled and dimed their way across home plate. Trevor Crowe was the biggest highlight offensively as he reached first base four times.

Appel Sets New Career Mark in Front of Luhnow
Jeff Luhnow has made his way to Quad Cities now on his minor league tour and was in attendance for the River Bandits 6-1 win. Like the RedHawks, they scored six runs without getting an extra-base hit. But, it was Appel who gets the attention. He gave up one run, but he struck out a new career high, six. He said after the game that it was his best pro start in his opinion as he made some adjustments since his last start and was able to command his pitches and keep the ball low in the zone. Bushue Gets Crushed in 7-2 Loss
Tanner Bushue surrendered two home runs amond the five hits he gave up. It wasn't pretty. His pitch count got up quick and he only lasted two innings. Although, there was a positive to take a way from it. He had five groundouts and no flyouts, which is a change for him.

G-Ville Strikes out 12, Loses 2-0
That's good pitching, especially when you don't walk anybody either. But, to give nine hits as well isn't good and that's what led to two runs. Offensively, the team just couldn't put enough together as Chase McDonald was the only one with an extra-base hit and two have two hits.
