While the Astros front office focuses on who they will take with the first overall all pick, Bud Norris and the boys hope to take the final game and the series from the O's. The Astros' ace has rounded nicely into form over his last three starts. Norris has a 0.95 ERA in those starts. He is 3-1 with a 2.03 ERA in seven starts at home. Only Orioles batters with previous experience against Norris are former members of the NL Central, Nate McLouth and JJ Hardy are a collective 1-11 against the Astros right-hander

Miguel Gonzalez has already earned his stripes in his young career, starting game 3 of the 2012 American League Division Series. Gonzalez has been a solid starter for the O's over the past two seasons. Gonzalez went on the 15-day DL for a blister on May 9, in his three starts since returning Gonzalez posted an ERA of 3.00. His streak of quality starts ended in his last start, giving up five runs over six innings to the Tigers. Carlos Pena is batting .333 with an RBI off Gonzalez.
