OkC's Pitching Got Crushed in 10-2 Loss
Phillip Humber nailed two hitters and C.J. Fick nailed another. They couldn't strike out hardly anyone out either. Well, Kevin Chapman could, but he didn't get his chance until the 8th and he struck out all three that he faced. But, it's all good in the neighborhood because RedHawks First Baseman picked up three hits. Fernando Martinez did not...something could have been on his mind.

The Buchanan Streak Ends, But Hooks Win 9-5
All good things must come to an end. His scoreless streak is over, but his ERA is still a minuscule 0.85 ERA. Impressive streak and props must be given. Kenny Long also gave up a home run to former Astros farmhand, Jacob Goebbert. George Springer also left the game after being hit by a pitch, I've heard no indication on his prognosis.

Aplin, the Lone Bright Spot in 4-2 Loss
Just not much going on in this game on either side of the game. Andrew Aplin picked up a multi-hit game and there's the excitement. It was a rare day game and everyone seemed to be off their game.

Quad Cities: Off Day
DSL Astros Throw a Shut-Out in 2-0 Win
Edwin Villarroel, Joselo Pinales, and Harold Arauz combined for four hit shutout to bring the team record to 2-1. Villarroel is an 18 year old making his second round in the DSL after struggling to miss bats and find the strike zone last season. He was able to finish five innings and not walk anyone, but only struck out three. One of the three names signed early in the international free agency window, Victor Tavarez, provided some of the offense in the game. He was signed as a catcher, but is listed as a first baseman.
- Edwin Villarroel-5 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 So, 6/2 GO/AO
