Pitching Match

RHP Lucas Harrell (5-8 / 4.84 ERA / 1.59 WHIP) vs. LHP C.J. Wilson ( 7-5 / 3.68 ERA / 1.38 WHIP)

Preview

Lucas Harrell is one man standing between the Astros and a sweep at the hands of the Angels. If Harrell repeats his last outing, the Astros are doomed. Harrell was roughed up by the Cardinals, allowing seven runs over 3 1/3 innings of work. In his two starts this season against the Angels, Harrell has given up only earned two runs and struck out 11 over 10 2/3 innings. Harrell has owned Mike Trout thus far in 2013, holding him to one hit in six at-bats. They may be reason Trout is getting a day off today. Josh Hamilton will be in the lineup in centerfield, and he has two homeruns in five at-bats against Harrell.

C.J. Wilson is on the mound for the Angels today, this will be his fourth start against Houston in 2013. Wilson has given up six earned runs over 19 2/3 innings against Houston. Jose Altuve is batting .300 against the Angels left-hander with a homerun and two RBI. Chris Carter and Carlos Corporan are both betting the stat today, each have a homerun against Wilson.
