Bud Norris takes the mound for the Astros today in Chicago. Norris has step back slightly in June, after a terrific May. IN his last three starts, Norris has lasted at least to the sixth inning in all of them, giving up at least three runs in each. While striking out 17 batters, and walking only 2 over those three starts. Norris is 2-2 in 4 starts last season against the Cubs. Three of the starts came on the road, Norris gave up 10 runs over 9 1/3 innings in his first two trips. In his final road start in Chicago, Norris pitched 6 innings of scoreless baseball. The Cubs have 7 home runs off Norris in 2012; Starlin Castro and David DeJesus are both 5-for-11 against Norris in those four starts.

Travis Wood has been the Cubs most constant pitcher in 2013, collecting 13 quality starts in 14 chances. He has posted a 2.36 ERA at home thus far in 2013. June has been a good month of him as well, throwing up a 2.70 ERA in 20 innings pitched. Jose Altuve is 2-for-11 with a solo home run against Wood.
