Preview
It's time for another get-away day game at Minute Maid Park. On the mound for the Astros is Lucas Harrell. Harrell has taken strides in the right direction after a dismal May, that saw him collect a 7.53 ERA for the month. The right-hander picked up a win in his last start in Houston, scattering seven hits, striking out seven, and allowing three runs against the White Sox. In his only start against the Brewers last season, Harrell gave up five runs over five innings. The only extra base hit against Harrell that game came from Ryan Braun (2-run home run), and he won't be in the lineup today.
Yovani Gallardo, the 2010 All-Star, has been the head of the Brewers rotation as other stars like Sabathia and Greinke have come and gone. Gallardo is an Astro-killer to say the least, in 16 starts he is 13-3 with a 2.87 ERA. He has failed to give up a run over his last two starts (14 innings), striking out 9, and walking three over that time period. Jason Castro is 4-for-10 lifetime against Gallardo with a homerun.
