Dallas Keuchel appears to have acclimated himself to American League baseball at this point in the season. The Astros left-hander has pitched three straight quality starts. Walking only two and striking out 13 over that stretch of time. Keuchel will be new challenge for the White Sox, the current roster has no at-bats against the lefty. The White Sox as a team are batting .233 against left-handers, and Keuchel has a 5.50 ERA in appearances at Minute Maid Park.
Hector Santiago has bounced between the bullpen and the rotation throughout the 2013 season. Santiago returned to the rotation to take the injured Jake Peavy's spot.
