Astros General Manager Jeff Luhnow Discusses Young Talent On MLB Now

Houston Astros General Manager Jeff Luhnow joins Brian Kenny and Harold Reynold on MLB Networks newest show MLB Now to discuss the Astros rebuild, minor league policy and the draft.

In case you missed it, on Tuesday Astros General Manager Jeff Luhnow joined Brian Kenny and Harold Reynolds on MLB Networks brand new show MLB Now which touches on the "old school" vs. "new school" debate.

Kenny kicks off with a couple questions regarding the Astros recent roster moves and their rebuilding efforts. Harold then takes point on the question and grills Luhnow on the Astros 3-2 policy, tandem pitching that has been implemented at the minor league levels and the draft.

One of the things I took away from the interview is that he dropped the names of Mike Foltynewicz, Vincent Velasquez and Jarred Cosart in that order. It's probably nothing but I have to wonder if this is the order in which the Astros view their top pitching prospects. One name absent from that list that many Astros fans will point out is Lance McCullers but he was also just drafted last year and the context was pitchers on the way. I know, I know I'm reaching.
