Lucas Harrell gave up a leadoff double to Athletics' designated hitter Coco Crisp, but quickly erased the threat by getting a pop up from John Jaso and then bringing out the big guns.
Namely, his personal catcher Carlos Corporan decided to bring the reign of Coco The Terrible to an abrupt end by throwing him out at third base as he attempted to steal the bag. That caught stealing was followed up by Josh Reddick rolling over on a ball and Brett Wallace easily tagging the bag to end the inning.
It was Houston's second caught stealing of the season in five attempts. Last season, Corporan threw out 33 percent of base stealers in 185 innings. Coco Crisp, meanwhile, was successful on 39 of 43 stolen base attempts last season.
Tim was kind enough to give us a .gif of the moment, which was pretty awesome.
Let's get giffy:
Needless to say, Corporan was pretty fired up.
