It's time for another installment in Astros Strikeout Watch 2013. (Queue up the dramatic cable TV news music) There is actual good news to report, the Astros only struck out four times yesterday. The Astros even had offence to speak of. Jason Castro flipped a Bartolo Colon pitch into the first row of the Crawford Boxes to give the Astros a short-lived lead.

Lucas Harrell will be on the bump today for Houston, Harell was solid in his first start (0-1, 1.50 ERA, 4 Ks). Unfortunately, he rant into the buzz saw that is Yu Darvish and picked up his first lost. Oakland has very light history against Harrell. CoCo Crisp will be back in the lineup today and has a hit in three at-bats against Harrell.

Oakland's Opening Day starter, Brett Anderson will be looking to keep the A's four-game winning streak alive. Anderson is coming off Tommy John surgery in 2011, returning in 2012 to make six starts with a record of 4-2, a 2.57 ERA, and 1.03 WHIP. Once again, the only Astros with any experience with Anderson is Carlos Pena. In eight at-bats, Pena is batting .375 with a homerun and 2 RBIs.
