Pitching Match

RHP Philip Humber (0-3 / 2.89 ERA / 1.35 WHIP) vs. LHP Scott Kazmir (Spring Training 1-0 / 3.46 ERA / 1.46 WHIP)

The Astros sent Houston fans home happy Friday with a win and fireworks. Lucas Harrell did just enough for the win - giving up two runs over 5.2 innings. The same goes for the Astros offense; J.D. Martinez and Rick Ankiel had back-to-back homeruns. Now for game two, Philip Humber is once again looking for his first win of the season.

Humber has been a tough luck pitcher thus far, giving up 6 runs over 18.2 innings in 3 starts. Asdrubal Cabrera (.400) and Carlos Santana (.625) have Humber's number. Starting for the Indians is Scott Kazmir. Funny thing, Kazmir was pitching the Houston area in 2012 as well. He was out major league baseball, pitching for the Sugar Land Skeeters. As a Skeeter, Kazmir had a record of 3-6 and a 5.34 ERA in 14 games.

A pitcher making his first start in the major leagues since 2011, sounds like a recipe for success for the Astros.
