The paradox that is the Astros continues, blanking the Angels 5-0 last night. Bud Norris posted seven scoreless innings and struck out five. Rick Ankiel led the Houston offense with three RBIs on two hits. It was a fun night overall as most of Houston slept.

Lucas Harrell takes the mound for the Astros tonight, hoping to improve upon his second outing - giving up eight runs over 4.1 innings. It was the first time in 31 consecutive starts that Harrell hadn't lasted five innings. Brett Wallace will be getting the start today at first, looking to improve upon his .048 AVG thus far in 2013.

Garrett Richards will be Harrell's counterpart for the Angels tonight. Richards has stepped in for the injured Jered Weaver. Richards has given up one run in 4.1 innings of work out of the bullpen. I don't expect to see Josh Hamilton to break out of his slump against Lucas Harrell; thus far he is hitless against the Astros' number two starter.
