In this match-up:

14 - Xavier Cedeno

Left-handed reliever Xavier Cedeno quietly provided quality relief for the Astros in 2012. In 31 innings of relief he posted a 3.77 ERA, 3.48 FIP and a 3.60 xFIP. In 70 plate apperances he held left-handed batters to a .213/.304/.311 batting line and struck out 27 left-handed batters and 36 batters overall. With the Astros rebuilding their bullpen don't be surprised if Cedeno emerges as one of the more reliable relievers especially against lefties.

Vs

51 - Paul Clemens

Paul Clemens exited the 2012 Spring Training with a lot of excitement. Unfortunately, his time in AAA Oklahoma City was not what everyone expected. In 20 starts, 101.2 innings, Clemens posted a 6.73 ERA. His time in AA Corpus Christi resulted in much better numbers where he posted a 3.46 ERA in seven starts, 41.2 innings. While his results were less than ideal at AAA he has the stuff that makes scouts and prospectors drool.
