Today, the Astros have 104 losses
Fernando Abad started the game (he threw a few fastballs clocked into the mid-90's)
Then he left. Oblique injury it was.

Fernando Rodriguez came in, a bulldog he is
A bulldog he was too much of
A homerun here, one over there
Three runs in Four plus a third
Not bad, but I do detest.

Jose Valdez, what do you think?
A throw to third satisfies your perilous brink?
Don't be daft, do learn a chore
Do it again, the door will shut
Two runs in one is not much done

Chuckie Fick wielding a mighty arm
A scoreless inning is the perfect charm
You went so soon, yet you did so well
it was that for the arm could fell
Rest is good, and so it will be

Rhiner Cruz came in next
And did the same
A 97 is the way of his game
Strike 3, the swag saved the inning

Offensive tones were much too bland
Scott Moore was the only man to drive in one
The rest were irrelevant sandy grains of ineptitude

Injury was common
Justin Maxwell played all three outfield positions
Scott Moore played second base
Brandon Laird shook like a wet dog at 3rd
A missed catch there, an errant throw there
Not very good

12 thousand fans, a new low
Another first round pick next year
An American league
There will be intrigue
But not tonight
