It's an off day, so let's get pumped for the minor leagues! Oklahoma City will be without their spark plug at the top of the order in Jimmy Paredes since he is on his way to Houston. There's an opening on the 40-man roster now with this trade, so which minor leaguer can play their way into a potential September call-up? Jarred Cosart is on the bump, so it could be him.

Oklahoma City RedHawks vs Albuquerque

Jarred Cosart 7:05 CT

Corpus Christi vs San Antonio

Ross Seaton 7:05 CT

Lancaster JetHawks vs Lake Elsinore

Colton Cain 9:00 CT

Tri-City ValleyCats at Lowell

TBD 6:05 CT

Greeneville Astros vs. Bluefield

Francis Ramirez 6:00 CT

Big stories for the night has to surround the pitching for the night. Can Jarred Cosart make another solid start and rack up a few strikeouts? If he does, we can continue to point to Burt Hooten as the best AAA pitching coach we can ask for. The Hooks are sitting pretty for the playoffs, but Ross Seaton needs to keep them on track and keep his stock up. Lancaster is up by two games over Lake Elsinore, but Colton Cain will need to pitch well so they can keep a little cushion.
