News came down on Sunday that Houston's All-Star representative will be second baseman Jose Altuve. In only his second season, and his first full season as a starter in the majors, Altuve is hitting .309/.351/.453 with five home runs, 12 stolen bases, 18 doubles and an OPS+ of 118.
Altuve is one of two second baseman on the National League roster, after starter Dan Uggla. It is his first All-Star game, but his second appearance on All-Star weekend, after he played in the Futures Game last season.
He's also just the fifth Astros player to make an All-Star appearance at Age 22 or younger. The first was Joe Morgan, another second baseman and the last was Terry Puhl, who was 21 in that season. The other two were Cesar Cedeno and Larry Dierker

Unwritten rules and all...
The complete All-Star teams are below the jump. Who else got snubbed? Were there any surprises for you? Will you be voting for Bryce Harper in the Final Spot vote or Chipper Jones?
