There's several things to point out and give more attention to than just a bullet point, but I'm not going to over analyze them yet. It's just the second game. I did yesterday because they were exciting and it was opening day games.

Fernando Martinez hit a homerun, so hope remains that we may have gotten a steal. He's started off the season on the right foot and lets hope that foot doesn't fall off before the end of the season. But, to be truly honest, just about the whole OkC team brought their game last night to pile on twelve runs. That's always nice to see, especially when it's a Cardinal affiliate.

Folty seemed to have gotten knocked around a good bit, but the defense behind him seemed suspect, to say the least. He pitched well early and picked up some strikeouts but the big inning seemed to have wore on him as he then picked up some walks and left the game with a pretty low pitch count.
