We used John Sickels grading system to grade our prospects. Here are what the grades mean.

Eight writers contributed this year which is double what we've had the past two years. I think this stabilized the rankings a bit since one writer's grade had less of an impact on a prospects rankings. This was Chris' first foray into prospect rankings and he is going to have a post up in the coming days to defend those rankings.

Farmstros: 'Tis the Season... To Rate Prospects

Our top 10 prospect rankings are very close to Baseball Prospectus top 10 rankings, but vary a bit more with Jonathan Mayo's and FanGraphs rankings. All of us had the same top 5 players, with some variation in rankings. One player that sticks out is Domingo Santana who BP and us both have in our top 10 while Mayo and FanGraphs have him outside their top 15. Maybe Baseball America should be the tie-breaker.
