Astros Minor League Recap

Getty Images

I know many of you are wanting to do a daily minor league open thread, or at least have some venue to discuss.  There were several ideas thrown around that I have we are going to toss around to see what works best for the community as a whole.

Option 1. We can discuss it in the regular game threads.  Thats actually how this whole minor league recap came about.  I posted some of the big prospects performances and it gave David the idea to do these.  Obviously, attention to the minors has grown enormously over the past year and could clutter the gamethread.  But, would allow everyone to discuss both.  With this option, we will do a minor league open thread on off days.

Option 2. We can do a nightly open thread specifically for the minors.  This will allow for the ones who don't follow the minors to enjoy the major league gamethread without having to sift through the minor league stuff.  Although, this would take a lot of switching back and forth for those of you who would want to participate in both.  Given the major league struggles, this could actually take away from attention on the major league club, afterall we are an Astros blog.

Option 3.  We can tag onto that morning's recap and discuss that night's happening in the same thread as the performances from the previous night.

I'm going to open this up for discussion and then I'll get a poll up for the next morning.
