Alright, I'm back again from a brief hiatus where I packed as much information into my head. I had my first big exam yesterday, so I should be posting regularly again for awhile. Big thanks goes out to David for posting one yesterday for me.
Tri-City is off to a good start to the season. There record is dominant through four games, but their bats have been solid and have had a few good pitching performances. They look like they might be able to make another run, especially once Springer gets signed. The guy who has impressed me is Matt Duffy. Timmy mentioned him as a guy he'll watch solely on the basis as a 20th round pick and the Astros have good luck in that round. JR Towles, JD Martinez, Dan Adamson, and Kyle Greenwalt have all been drafted and signed out of the 20th round. Duffy, so far, has hit very well and could allow us to have a high floor 3B prospect!
The Greeneville Astros get kicked off today and the GCL Astros ace from last season, Jose Perdomo, gets the opening day nod. I'm very interested to see how he does this season. If he puts up numbers similar to last year, he easily could be penciled into the Legends rotation next year.
