Happy Mothers Day!

It's time for minor league players of the week!

Hitter of the Week: Jimmy Paredes

Paredes came back from an injury on Monday and went 10-26 with two doubles and a home run.  Paredes also walked one time and struck out just twice while stealing three bases and getting caught just once.  In his last ten games, his OPS is over .900 and is trending upwards for the season getting close to .800.  For the season, Paredes has been a nice surprise.  He skipped Lancaster and has still hit very well.  He started off hot but had a little slump but he's been hitting since his injury.

Pitcher of the Week: Jose Cisnero

There is no denying that Cisnero had one of the most, if not the most, jaw dropping performance of the season.  His thirteen strikeouts in seven innings of work leaves you drooling for more. Sure, he gave up three hits and walked three which led to his two earned runs, but who wouldn't take any day of the week?  For the season, his ERA isn't pretty, but thats because of two bad starts that he bounced back from.  His K/9 for the season is over 15! That is insane!  His FIP tells how his season really is, which is at 3.40.
